ARTIST: CONRAD JON
“I recently moved to LA (Hollywood) in November 2018 to chase my dreams and spread my wings as an artist. I was born and raised a Hoosier in Indiana and lived there my entire life until now. I started making music in 8th grade as a joke to pass time in class but then started taking it seriously in high school. I dropped my first album “Looking Up” as a junior in high school and while it wasn’t a great album, people at least took me seriously as an artist after that and knew it wasn’t just a hobby. After high school, I knew I wanted to do music but couldn’t get a degree in “rap”. So I decided to learn anything and everything around the genre and culture that I could get a degree in. I ended up going to Ball State University and majoring in Telecommunications with a focus in audio production. This allowed me 24-hour access to the studios and I took full advantage of that. I ended up loving audio production and doing really well in my major and even made the dean’s list twice. I graduated over the Summer in 2018 and a couple of months after that got an opportunity to move to LA. Now we’re back to the beginning.”
